Five Women Wearing the Same Dress
As part of its 52nd season, NTG is proud to present Alan Ball's play, "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress." Reminiscent of the 80s hit "Steel Magnolias," this comedy explores what happens when three reluctant and of course identically clad bridesmaids duck out of an ostentatious wedding reception. It turns out none of the women actually like the bride, and each has their reason to avoid the proceedings below. This funny, irreverent and touching celebration of a women's spirit is written by acclaimed screen writer Alan Ball who's work includes "American Beauty" and "Six Feet Under".
Our production features New England stage veterans Andrea Stasio, Meredith McElroy, Melissa Runde, Melanie Rodrique, Craig Ciampa and newcomer Irene Gerkas.
Directed by Mike Wood, this compelling piece is certain to be moving and memorable.
"Five Women Wearing the Same Dress" will be performed at the Janice B. Streeter Theater at 14 Court Street, Nashua NH. The show runs April 18th-21st, 2013, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $12 for seniors. Limited seating is available. Advanced tickets may be purchased at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/359406 or at the box office starting one hour before the show. Please call 603-320-2530 for more information. Group discounts apply.
