Nashua Theatre Guild is pleased to present the NH premiere of “Art of Murder,” Joe DiPietro’s 2000 Edgar Award Winner for Best Mystery Play. DiPietro, best known as the author of “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” and the 2010 Tony Award winning musical “Memphis” delivers a scintillating hit with thrills and chills and some wonderful humor. It will have you laughing and guessing who is to be murdered and who is the murderer.

Jack (Chris Vick) is a domineering, insulting artist whose fame puts him in the gossip columns. His success has filled the pockets of his art dealer, Vincent (Michael Coppola) and paid for a comfortable life for his wife, Annie (Melanie Rodrigue), including a full-time maid, Kate (Sarah Lord). DiPietro has created an insular look into the rarified world of high priced art, where towering ego clashes and high style intrigue are free to play with the sanity and the lives of everyone involved. “Art of Murder” takes the audience on a darkly comic & suspenseful roller coaster ride. 

“Art of Murder” is directed by the NH Theatre Award winning director Deborah Shaw and will be performed one weekend only: September 15-18, 2011 at the Janice B. Streeter Theater, 14 Court Street, Nashua NH. Shows are Thursday – Saturday at 8 pm and Saturday & Sunday at 2 pm.
